Vodafone has just released a new smart phone called Vodafone 555 Blue. This phone features a button to be able to access the most popular social network in the world, Facebook.

It seems that the existence of these phones will rival a similar phone from HTC, the HTC Chaca. Facebook mobile phone from Vodafone is equipped with a QWERTY keypad that promise to users to be able to type status or comment on others' status on Facebook account.

But compared with the HTC Chaca, it seems this phone has various shortcomings. It could even be said that this phone is a low end phone with simple features.

Vodafone's 2G service facilitated it, and the specifications were, as has been said above, nothing special. Using a 2.4 inch QVGA screen is not touchscreen, the processor 200 MHx, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio and 1000 mah batteries.

Despite having a simple specification, this phone is supported Wifi connection with 2Gnya service is quite reliable. So it is not worth it for those who like 'nytatus' to have this phone.

Vodafone has not said when they will release this phone on the market. But certainly, they will sell this phone at a price of USD 99.

The handset is actually made by Alcatel Mobile, and looks to us like it’s a re-badged version of the OT-706 with a slightly re-designed case. Either way, it’s not a bad looking phone as the pebble design helps it fit comfortable in your hand. It’s very small for a touchscreen phone standing just 95mm high, but this does mean that it’ll fit into even the smallest of shirt pockets.

Vodafone has release a new super-budget Android phone, known as the Vodafone Smart that official announced last month. The Smart Android smartphone is available now in Vodafone UK with cost of £60 on Pay as you go (PAYG). Vodafone Group terminals director Patrick Chomet said: ’More and more Vodafone customers are enjoying the benefits of smartphones, which currently account for over 40% of the phones we sell in Europe. Continuing to push the boundaries through our own brand range, the Vodafone Smart is a new smartphone concept.

The Vodafone Smart comes with a power button on the top, USB at the bottom, volume rocker down the side and measuring in 103.8 x 56.8 x 12.6mm with weight at just 104g. The Smart Android smartphone available in black or white colors option, but you can personalise your phone by picking one of a range of beautifully designed back covers by by uploading a picture of their choice or you can have a play on the Vodafone Design Studio web page.
