Pantech and AT & T has announced the latest Pursuit mobile phones, named Pantech II which brings features 2.8 inch touch screen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Pantech Pursuit II running on BREW Mobile Platform, which offers a similar application "smartphone" on the non-smartphone devices.

The screen on the Pursuit II has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA). There is also a 2 megapixel camera on this phone with additional functionality in the back of the camcorder. Pantech Pursuit II supports microSD cards up to 32GB capacity, and offers up to 3 hours of talk time or more than 10 days of standby time with the included battery. Mobile, measuring 101.1mm x 61mm x 15mm (3.98in x 2.40in x 0.59in) and weighs 127g (4.48oz). Who likes to send text messages may fit with this phone.

Pantech has announced its first Android smartphone to hit the U.S. market: the Crossover.

The Crossover features a 3.1-inch touchscreen with a slide-out, landscape QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by a 600MHz processor, and runs Android 2.2 Froyo. There is a 3 megapixel, non-autofocus camera on the back with video recording capabilities.

The Crossover measures 113mm x 58mm x 14mm (4.45in x 2.28in x 0.56in), and weighs 146g (5.15oz). It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and has GPS and Bluetooth support. It comes with a 2GB microSD card pre-installed, though it can support capacities up to 32GB. The Crossover has a 1500mAh battery that Pantech claims is good for 5 hours of talk time, or 30 days of standby.

The Pantech Crossover will be available on AT&T starting June 5. It will sell for $69.99 with a new two-year agreement.
